I was just watching your videos on leading lines and it made me think this photo was a good example of the diagonals you were talking about. Bird photographers, however, would say this is not a great shot as the grebe should be pointing its head toward the viewer, not away. Well...what do bird photographers know?
I really love the use of the reflection of the marsh grass, it creates a dynamic radial pattern that really catches the eye!
