Lovely image. You might want to consider reducing the saturation of the yellows and greens on the foreground rocks, that will make the yellow of the cabin stand out even more and make it really pop!

Hi Jim, there seem to be some serious processing errors on this - in particular, notice the weird all-white areas around the bottom, and bottom left and right of the bison. I think maybe you made a subject selection to brighten the bison, but the selection also picked up some of the surrounding snow? Since this is a very lovely image, I recommend taking another look at the raw file and re-processing this, I'm assuming you did a quick edit to try to get it up for tomorrow's critique and probably just didn't notice the errors.

I like the improvements! Especially for the first photo, the composition now feels much more balanced while still retaining a high level of visual energy.

Hi Ron! Thanks for the comment. So, here's my thinking on this series: my "foreground" is that feature I called the lotus blossom. In the final images of the sequence, I got lower and closer to make its shape more prominent in the composition, and in the final photo it fills the foreground part of the composition almost from left to right. So, I basically was doing what you are suggesting, although on a larger scale perhaps. I really liked the shape of that feature, and I think it anchors my foreground perfectly. Drones typically don't have zoom lenses, but they can be flown just about anywhere, so you "zoom with your rotors" by moving closer or farther away from your subject. Drones can't be flown in the U.S. higher than approx. 400 feet above the ground, so it's that high or lower for these photos. I often use a wide-angle adapter on my drone to extend its field of view so I can avoid flying too high (and pano stitching can further increase this).
