A New & Versatile TAMRON Lens for Sony E-mount Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras

TAMRON recently announced a new addition to its lens collection for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras: the 50-300mm F/4.5-6!

The 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD (Model A069) is a 6x telephoto zoom lens that can be used for a wide variety of photo opportunities. The lens is suitable for all kinds of photographers, but you'll benefit greatly from it if you're a sports, wildlife, or landscape photographer.

At 665g (23.05oz), the 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 won't weigh you down. Additionally, thanks to an arrangement of special lens elements, TAMRON claims the lens is resistant to chromatic aberration and maintains its high-resolution look throughout the entire zoom range.

The lens is also silent, allowing for comfortable shooting in locations where noise could disturb the subject. The AF drive of the 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 VC uses TAMRON's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism, allowing high-speed and high-precision tracking performance. The 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 also has TAMRON's proprietary VC mechanism for steady shooting.

Here are a few examples of photos taken with this lens. All images were provided by TAMRON.

Overall, TAMRON's latest addition to its collection of efficient lenses looks very promising. If you're someone who struggles with camera shake, heavy telephoto lenses, and unreliable image quality, this lens might be perfect for you.

The TAMRON 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD is now available for pre-order on Hunt's. Pre-order it for $799 USD / $1099 CAD today!
