Processing Techniques for Enhancing Your Compositions

Your composition work doesn't end once you trigger the shutter button. The digital darkroom is an important next step for optimizing and finalizing your visual designs. In this webinar, Ian will discuss critical processing skills related to composition. He'll discuss cropping and scaling to optimize compositions, selective and targeted adjustments for emphasizing or de-emphasizing parts of the composition, and how color adjustments can have an impact on how viewers respond to your photos. You'll gain a deeper understanding of how your design choices in the field intersect with creative choices in the digital darkroom, and how you can command the viewer's eye, leading them to what's most important in your images. Ian will demonstrate techniques using Adobe Lightroom/Camera Raw, but the principles are applicable to other processing programs.
