Thanks for sharing your thinking as you are looking for "that's it!" on this landscape. You are famous for your foreground shots! What if you brought the drone down to use the sunlite peaks as sort of a gigantic foreground that looks at individual segments of the canyon light- tipped as you have in your last exposure. Maybe, instead of one large page of info, you tell individual stories perhaps with a little tighter view, if that's possible...I've never used a drone. I assume there's no telephoto of zoom lens for the drone. I could see many possibilites using one. Just a thought as a possible change of tunnel perspective.
By the way, what's the approximate alttitude of a drone shot like this or others like the bayou, etc.? Ron
