Low perspective with the focus on the feather, but conveying a sense of place with the people and the iconic Mont Saint Michel in the background.

I hope this is monochrome enough...I tried a b/w version, but I like this bluish one better. During a trip to Antarctica, the cruise ship docked to an ice floe, and the expedition leader investigated it whether it was safe to disembark passengers. In the end, we all had the possibility to walk on this ice floe, but of course it was not the same experience as the expedition leader must have had, when he stepped where no man has gone before... I used a wide aperture of f/4.8 to render the lone figure in the background out-of-focus, in order to create more mystery. Nikon D750, Sigma ART 35mm.
