THIS IS A 3-SHOT 2-STOP APART BRACKETED IMAGE TAKEN DURING BLUE HOUR, JUST BEFORE SUNRISE. THERE ARE MOUNTAINS TO THE EAST THAT SHIELD THE FOREGROUND FROM THE SUN AS IT INITIALLY COMES UP. THIS AMAZING STORM CLOUD WAS COMING IN OVER MOUNT MORAN AND WAS LIT UP BY THE RISING SUN. IT WAS SHOT WITH MY NIKON D7200 WITH BASE SETTINGS OF F20, 1/6 SEC, ISO 100 AT 18MM.

THIS IS A DRONE SHOT I CAPTURED IN THE ICELANDIC HIGHLANDS IN 2020. THESE UNIQUE CRATER LAKES ARE WELL KNOWN DUE TO THEIR PROXIMITY TO EACH OTHER AND THEIR STUNNINGLY DIFFERENT COLORS. THERE IS A BRAIDED RIVER WHICH CAN BE SEEN IN THE UPPER LEFT, AND YES, THE COLORS THERE REALLY DO LOOK LIKE THIS. I DID NOT OVERSATURATE OR OVER PROCESS. JUST DID MY NORMAL ADJUSTMENTS. I CAUGHT TO DRONE BUG THERE BECAUSE OF THE NEW PERSPECTIVE THEY GIVE YOU ON A LANDSCAPE. I NOW OWN A DJI MINI 4 PRO.

I captured this image on one very cold January morning on the Buffalo River in Island Park, ID just west of Yellowstone N.P. The buffalo river is 100% spring fed, so it never freezes over in winter no matter how cold it gets. It is 55 degrees in temperature year-round. As a result in winter, you get these amazing clouds of steam coming off the river and up into the trees. My settings were ISO 100, F/22,1/80 sec. No ND filter was used.

This is actually an i phone shot from Vestrahorn beach in Iceland. A group of us photographers were there to photograph the waves hitting the black rocks and sand on the beach while waiting for sunset. We had just finished up and I pulled up my tripod and turned towards the sun to start walking in that direction. When I looked up I saw two of my friends silhouetted against the setting sun. i was worried that If I took the time to set up my tripod and adjust the proper camera settings, I would miss the shot completely, so I grabbed my i phone and captured the moment. Settings were iso 32, 26mm f1.6 and 1/6135 sec.

I captured this HDR image in the Island in the Sky portion of Canyon Lands NP on a 3-week photo trip through Southern Utah last September. It is a 5-frame pano that I bracketed with 3 shots 2 stops apart for a total of 15 images which where then blended in LR and post processed with my usual workflow. I used several masks to lighten and darken some portions of the image. The added bonus to this image is the 3 dots on the rock ledge on the right which are a bride and groom and their photographer. They really lend a sense of scale to this place and let you know just how vast this area is. The canyons in the center are created by the Colorado river on the left and thr green river on the right, which eventually merge in the background.

Hello everyone, this is my first post with the group. This is an image of Kurkjufell or the Church Mountain. It is located on Iceland's Snaefellsnes Peninsula near the town of Grundarfjorour. I captured this while on a 10 day ring road guided photo tour in 2021 at the height of Covid. This location is said to be the most photographed mountain in Iceland. It and the waterfalls are the Iconic Iceland image you see in almost every travel poster and Iceland travel ad. I wanted to do a composition different from the classic one that everyone shoots here. I wanted to get an image that most others don't get. I hiked upstream about 1/4 - 1/2 mile from the waterfalls. This is a three-exposure bracketed shot taken 2 stops apart, merged in Aurora HDR and finished in Lightroom. Base settings were Iso 100, 18mm, F/20 and 1/6 sec. Tamron 18-400 on a Nikon Z5.
