Great shot! I have almost that exact scene but with the Milkyway reflected in the water. You are right about getting there to shoot right after a rain when all of the rock pockets fill up with water.

Actually it ran an air compressor for pneumatic tools in the nearby mines.

really nice. it may have more impact if you crop out some of the dark foreground and go to a 16 x 9 or wider pano. The dark stone at the bottom of the foreground doesn't add much to the image.

ian I checked and unfortunately this was the full crop out of camera.
