A Wilson's snipe that we saw yesterday at the Stick Marsh in Fellsmere, Florida. I didn't think this was a great image and wasn't even going to process it but my husband Vin, the birder in our family, said that this bird is generally hunkered down so low in the grass that it is hard to get a shot of its head much less its body. Here the snipe was standing up albeit in tall grass. So I am posting it for all the snipe enthusiasts out there!

I think you did a wonderful job! You used the perfect aperture so the snipe stands out beautifully. It looks very elegant.
