LIke Taya, I also thought this was infrared but maybe it's just the ice creating that much white.
This is just a black and white conversion. The tree was heavily covered with ice and the sky was bright blue so it made for a faux infrared look.
Did you take this using an infrared camera? I love the effect. The tree looks striking.
