I went to the Skagit valley, Wa tulip fields this weekend. Pretty crazy amount of people also showed up which made for some interesting shooting--especially with my new Canon ef 11-24 f4L lens. Here's a shot looking towards Mt Baker which was covered in hazy clouds. The tulips were awesome with great color. Tip-toe through the Tulips is a serendipitous shot--. I hope you like it as much I do...Enjoy!

Thank you Ian--yes, your edit to remove some of the sky and crop in closer on the foreground makes for a much more compelling photograph. I am pondering your suggestions and trying to process them so I can visualize the best possible compositions in future edits. Thanks again!
Thank you Frances--..
Hi Richard, love the color contrast and the leading line of the path. I feel like maybe there is too much sky (there's some interesting texture but the best texture seems to be close to the horizon), and too much foreground (a good part of the immediate foreground here is just the dirt path and some leaves without flowers). I'm usually more of a vertical guy, but this one seems to me to be stronger as a horizontal, which eliminates some of the less interesting parts of the foreground and sky and focuses the viewer on the best, most colorful parts of the scene. What do you think?
I love how the woman's yellow dress contrasts with the red tulips.
