Went with a friend to The Summit at One Vanderbilt, the newest observation skyscraper in New York City. The entrance is right in Grand Central Station. Starting on the 91st floor one encounters wonderful views of the city but it is the mirrored and glass floors that provide a multi sensory experience along with the floor-to-ceiling views. Another room is filled with mylar balloons. At the summit is a cafe to enjoy a drink and the panorama. It was fun except for the long queue to get in, even with a time-reserved ticket. Good practice for the next foray through TSA at the airport.
