I really like this photo, the concentration of the subjects on the card game and their interaction. Is the color off? I suspect it may be tungsten lighting in the booth or market where they are sitting. Nevertheless, I like the warm lighting but their skin color seems too warm.
Thanks very much for the comment, Frances. This is the photo that came out of the camera on Auto WB, but I suspect that the camera may have overreacted to the lighting and/or the heavily blue color objects in the photo. I will definitely look at adjusting the skin tones. Part of my attraction to this photo is that it is something of the street photographer's version of Cezanne's "The Card Players" and the one we have here in Philly at the Barnes Foundation has a decidedly blue cast to it. Thanks again.
I love Cezanne's paintings. Maybe try using the eye dropper on the white object and see how PhotoShop corrects the color. If you don't like it, you can experiment with the WB slider. Or you could lower the warmth and then use a mask to just apply it to the faces. I would keep some warmth in the faces as they are Asian.
