I photographed this springbok in Etosha National Park in Namibia at sunset, when the landscape was bathed in colorful backlighting. Sunlight was striking the front glass elements of my lens, creating lens flare. I like to use flare creatively, and with a telephoto lens shot wide open, the flare covers the entire image with a warm, gauzy look.
