I shot this photo from the Stone Arch Bridge in the Mill District in Minneapolis, As you can see in the reflection, afternoon light was highlighting the mill building, while the building below was in shadow.. The material floating on the water gave the reflection a painterly texture and blur. The murky blue water and green plant life provided contrast with the yellows in the building. The image is flipped to make the building appear right side up.
My brother liked this picture so much that he recommended that I specialize in pond scum photography--but I digress into another reflection on brotherly love.
