Hey everyone, here's a photo from my recent trip to the Lofoten Islands of Norway. I first photographed this scene a few days prior to making this photo, I liked the composition but there wasn't much snow on the foreground. I came back after a significant snowfall to try this again with better conditions. When you find a composition you like, plan to return if you don't get the right conditions the first time (or second, or third, etc.). Some of my best compositions I've tried a dozen times before getting light, color, and clouds to line up perfectly! DJI Mavic 3 drone, ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/50 second.
The return trip certainly paid off -- Great shot Ian! The more I look the more I see--just simply amazing--!
