Using the Photographers Ephemeris, and scouting the area during the day, I estimated the Milky Way would cross over this balanced rock around 10:30 PM. That evening I got down very low on the rock formation below it to create a leadling line over the textures in it to the subject. Shot with a Canon R5 with a Sigma 14mm f1.8 Art lens at f1.8, 13 secs, iso 3200. Off camera flash at very low power was also used to help eliminate noise in the foreground and bring out some of the textures better.
