The Lindy Point hike is a short trail that leads one to an amazing viewpoint, and when the foliage is at peak, it is simply spectacular. The hike is in Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia. We were so lucky to be stopping in West Virginia just at the right time.
The composition is really nice, but the sky is overexposure. This would have been a good candidate for taking two exposures, one for the landscape and one for the sky, and merging them together using Merge to HDR in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw.
