Kayakers on the Bantam River in Litchfield, Connecticut. This was taken at the White Memorial Foundation and Conservation Center in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. This not-for-profit founded in 1913 by Alain and May White houses 4,000 acres of fields, meadows, waterways, 40 miles of trails and woodlands. There is a museum, campground and meeting houses for group education and recreation. Activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding and horseback riding.
