Full Hunter's Moon over the Fayerweather Lighthouse in Bridgeport Harbor, Connecticut. I wanted to get the moon when it first rose behind the lighthouse but some clouds got in the way and only the top of the moon was visible until it got a bit higher in the sky.

Just for sake of comparison, and Fran, I hope you don't mind, but I did a wee bit o' Photoshop rearrangement to show another compositional approach. I think having the two primary visual elements in a dynamic, diagonal counterpoint relationship would have been a viable choice as well. So many different ways to approach this scene, I think it is worthy of a few more excursions!
I think this is a pretty awesome shot (especially the subtle handling of light). I would like to have seen the moon off center for comparison, but tis might be the winner:-)
I love this shot! I agree with your goal here - to have the moon behind the lighthouse - but this works great too! This is a great moment captured here, and it seems you perfectly executed the technical aspects as well. I think the centered composition works well here. Having the lighthouse/moon off-center would have worked too - with shots like this, you can usually go centered, or go off to the extreme left or right. Very nicely done!!!!
