I have a question on this photo. I made the photo hoping the ripples in the sand would create a leading line to the bear but am wondering if the fact that the ripples are not sharp (they were sand under shallow water) actually detracts from the photo? My son (who paints but not a professional artist) feels a closer crop to the bear is better. I will post the crop he prefers in the comments.

Tune in today to our PRO webinar (or watch the replay later), I've got a lengthy discussion of this series teed up!
Hi Frances--I like both photos. your first image with long leading lines is a great shot--blury leading lines work for me. When I opened your 1st photo in full screen mode is when I was able to appreciate the leading lines and the payoff is definitely there. I like the second photo because the detail in the bear is increased. However the run way as you call it is shortened but still works. I do prefer the long run way in the 1st photo. Great shots BTW..thanks for sharing!
I am recalling Ian's remark in the last webinar that if the runway isn't long enough, the plane won't take off the ground. But is a blurry runway any good? See closer crop of photo below.
