Today I went to the Javit's Center in New York City to attend B&H Bild, a celebration of the store's 50th anniversary serving photographers and others in the visual arts. It was quite an event and runs for two days with speakers in four major auditoriums and several smaller rooms, exhibitors, and photo walks. They also offered free camera sensor and lens cleaning, which I was grateful to take advantage of. It is also streaming live for those who could not get into the city. Here is a model in the trade show area demonstrating the use of lighting equipment. The event is free, and I am lucky to live close enough to get into Manhattan by commuter train. There also was a room serving as a camera museum with some interesting very early camera equipment and tripods.
